TelstraClear, it is the end of the year - where is the 25 Mbps upgrade?

By Mauricio Freitas, in , posted: 11-Dec-2007 16:37

Unless TelstraClear is hiding something, and seeing that they are giving $10 and $20 monthly credits to customers, I don't think we are going to see the promised 25 Mbps upgrade available this side of Christmas.

Shame. I was really looking forward to playing with that... How long we will have to wait now, with network brownout during the holiday?

Good question - I just asked the same thing myself in the Geekzone forums...

Hopefully it's coming sooner rather than later.

Maybe upgrade 4Mb to 10Mb too :)?

I was wondering that also, especially after getting the credit note,

methinks its a code for "we planned to have the 25mbps done by now, and to preempt your grizzling heres a 20 dollar discount"

Too bad.  I moved from Japan (100Mb FTTD) to NZ (2Mb?  You expect 2Mb??), I was hoping for SOMETHING, ANYTHING!!  Although...simple observation, given the lack of any sites worth viewing in NZ(?!?), and given the size of the international pipe (or is that straw??) maybe it's pointless?

Would feel good, though.  At least Google would be faster!
