What do you think of this animated Geekzone logo to be used in video productions?

The black backgrounded part at the start where it fades in then out quickly is confusing, without that I think it would look pretty slick..

I second Ross's comment.

I'm guessing the black bits at the start and end are to allow you to fade to/from black for the previous or next segments. Could easily edit them out for the very beginning of a video.

The black background scenes look a bit out of place and I'd like to see it without them as I think it would the intro look neat and relatively simple

Needs a "daawooosh" sound. If you know what I mean.

Looks nice. Well done.

Looks good, but i think it would be better being 2 seconds shorter and not sliding the "technology community" text from left to right.

That's my two sense anyway :)

Comment by Regs, on 18-Sep-2009 22:14

bit too much blinky flicky zoomy stuff :)

i thought the sliding bit was ok though.

Yea, too much flashy stuff (with that black bit at the start).
Can't wait to see the final version with sound! : )
