i-mate releases Jasjar ROM update

By Mauricio Freitas, in , posted: 10-Mar-2006 10:32

According to reports in some sites (including my fellow MVP Chris Leckness' own Mobility Site) it looks like a new i-mate Jasjar ROM is now availabe for download. I am downloading it now from the i-mate ftp site and even though I have a 10Mbps connection here at home it's coming down very slowly. I would expect this to download in a few minutes, but at this pace it will take 2 hours... Hello i-mate, fix your server, add more bandwidth: make your customers happy! This will replace my beta ROM, used for testing Windows Mobile 5.0 AKU2 with direct push e-mail. Not sure if this one contains the AKU2 but let's find out. edit: just noticed there is a http transfer available, and it's faster: this will take 1 hour only.
